dance of democracy...

   "The sena reign continues" say the headline today,Shiv Sena won the BMC elections yet again,some say its good some say its bad, but everybody has got an option, i can hear my dad arguing with somebody over the phone.My maid says that the corporator who won this year should not have one,I asked why and she replied in a very concerned tone "he is in this for money,he will do nothing for the people". Its good to have opinions and i am happy that my 2ND grade fail maid is so concerned about the development of the city, but what we dont understand is that elections in india is like a IPL cricket match, everybody roots for a certain party and want them to win but it has nothing to with the actual governing of the city.Its gives you the trill like a cricket match and if your team wins you get to say "i told you so" to others and if the party you are rooting for looses you always have the all time Favorite dialog "kya hoga iss desh ka", i dont know whats going to happen to this country.  

          Every candidate says that he is going to get us water, electricity good roads etc,but nobody says how.What i dont understand is that if it was so easy why havent they done it before what were they waiting for, and how will they all get us water and electricity when there is shortage of them in the country? do they have a magic wand? how do we know that one candidate is better than the other, how do we know he is not corrupt,they is no answer for these questions cause nobody has asked them yet.

            

          Some have one and some have lost but everybody has had their share of fun, it was a good game.

When the largest democracy of the world dances, every body gets a piece of the flesh !...

Anna Hazare... a really big name in india now a days.Some body who is a savior of us. is he? i dont know but he is doing good i and i like him at least he is trying and that is really important not only for an india but for any country, developed not developed doesn't mater for any civilization what matters is trying, effort
with out effort nothing happens lets see hopefully some thing good will happen with this

Mumbai was attacked,Yet again.Incidentally "Yet again" is what times of India Printed on its front page.And then started the media circus,"How do you feel?" asked a reporter to a man that was hurriedly walking cause he was late for work."Scared" came the innocent reply and the man continued to walk.He didn't care about the about coming on TV for a little longer, how could he? he was late for work,he had a family to feed.But his answer was honest and innocent, he really was scared.But there wasn't much he could do about it. Skipping work is not an option and even if he does skip it today what about tomorrow? "This is the spirit of Mumbai" said the reporter proudly maybe the reporter is from Mumbai,even i felt proud being born in Mumbai,but the very next second i didn't like that spirit so much.Isn't this the same spirit that the terrorists exploit every time they attack us?Every time there is a bomb blast they know that we are not going to do anything ,we are not going to retaliate.Not because we are spineless,its because we have jobs and family,and that's why we elect a government and expect them to retaliate. 

 "We were safe for 21 months, weren't we?,the last attack happened 21 months ago right" said the Home minister

"Its not possible to prevent all the attacks,2 or 3 are bound to happen " said an MP

 I don't expect much from the ministers after such comments,how can i? the next elections is are after 18 months.All i can do is pack my bags and get ready for work cause i have a family, and my boss will kill me if i am late, and pray that the remaining 2 attacks as mentioned by the respected MP doesn't happen today and i come home safe, YET AGAIN

trust me i am human

Lovely day today..you know why? because no body hated me! Its funny how much we want people to like us, as if they really matter, we all know they don't,but still, we all want to be the good guys, the best among the society.And that my friend is a difficult task to do. You know why? Cause we all have some thing bad in us.I always believed that life is not about black and white its about grey. We all have some thing good in us and something bad and if we were all bad we would have been devil and not human and we were all good we would have been angels.So why is it that society matters so much to us? I think its because, even though we know that we are not the best, but we want the world to believe that that we are the best among the rest. But we know that we are not perfect and so am i, but still i am going to wish that my day tomorrow goes great as well and all i want is that if nobody likes me tomorrow, at least no body hates me and lord knows that i am not a hypocrite its just that i am human and we are made that way.And who am i to go against the his wish ..lolz
